South Shore Waldorf School Summer Program Basics

Newcomers and visitors to the South Shore Waldorf School are welcome to join us for 8 weeks of summer fun!
Led by Waldorf educators, the Summer Program provides children ages 5 – 11 with an informal introduction to Waldorf-inspired education. Activities include circle time, singing, cooking, free play, arts, crafts, handwork (sewing, knitting, woodworking) and theatre.
The Program consists of eight sessions of one week each. Each session will explore a different theme, with daily activities arising out of the story and its culture. Enrol in one, several or all, days or weeks. Registration is ongoing throughout the summer.
Weekly rate: $ 200 – prepaid at time of registration
Daily rate: $ 45 – prepaid at time of registration – please contact the office for further details
Sibling discount: 5% – please use code Sibling Discount
5 fun and activity-filled days from Monday to Friday (9am – 4pm).
Bring your own meals/snacks.
Up until 2 weeks prior to start date: $40 administration fee
2 weeks or less: in the event the spot can be filled a $40 administration fee will apply. If the spot cannot be filled 100% of all fees apply.
All camps are eligible for funding from ProKids.
ProKids provides financial assistance for children and youth who, due to financial limitations, would otherwise be unable to participate in sports, recreation, and cultural activities. If you need some guidance on how to apply for ProKids, contact the office and we’d be happy to help you navigate the application.
